The Boyce Thompson Center in Yonkers under construction by the Simone Development Cos. is about 70 percent leased to 11 tenants.
Simone announced Thursday that it had signed a long-term lease for 20,000 square feet with the WESTMED Medical Group in Purchase.
WESTMED will occupy two floors at the Boyce Thompson Center in a new building constructed on the south side of original Boyce Thompson building and connected to it by a glass-covered connector corridor between the buildings that provides access to the lower level.
"We are very pleased at the level of leasing activity we are seeing at the Boyce Thompson Center. This unique and innovative project is attracting a wide range of tenants including medical practices, restaurants and retail. We look forward to our opening this fall,” said Joseph Simone, president of Simone Development Cos.
